About Arkyard

Arkyard is a growing UK-based digital marketing agency on a mission to help charities and purpose-driven organisations navigate the digital landscape and unlock their potential. From non-profits to values-led brands, we partner with organisations that want to make a positive impact in the world.

What makes us different?

  • You’ll work with clients whose missions truly matter — charities and organisations making a positive impact every day.
  • We’re small but ambitious, and in a stage of exciting growth. You’ll have real ownership and influence, helping shape how we work as we scale. Things aren’t all “figured out” — and that’s part of the opportunity.

The Role

As Paid Media Lead, you’ll take overall responsibility for the performance and development of paid media at Arkyard — overseeing strategy, delivery, and innovation across a growing portfolio of charity and purpose-led clients.

You’ll balance hands-on delivery with strategic oversight, guiding the Paid Media Manager and Executive, supporting client success, and driving the evolution of our paid product. You’ll play a key role in shaping how paid media integrates across the agency and will represent Arkyard externally — from partner relationships to thought leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the paid media function, ensuring excellence in planning, activation, and reporting across all channels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google Ads, and more).
  • Develop and own paid media strategy for key accounts, aligning performance activity with broader client and organisational goals.
  • Coach and mentor the paid media team, setting clear goals and supporting their development.
  • Oversee forecasts, budgets, and performance frameworks across clients.
  • Champion innovation, testing emerging platforms, tools, and AI solutions to drive smarter, more efficient performance.
  • Collaborate with other teams to create integrated campaigns and shared insights across SEO, creative, and content.
  • Contribute to new business — auditing prospect accounts, preparing pitch materials, and presenting to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain partner relationships (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.) and identify co-marketing or training opportunities.
  • Represent Arkyard in the sector — contributing to thought leadership, case studies, and events.

About You

  • 5+ years’ agency experience in paid media, with demonstrable expertise across paid social and search.
  • A strategic thinker who can translate data into clear, actionable stories.
  • Experienced in leading teams and mentoring others to develop skills and confidence.
  • Excellent client communicator — confident presenting to senior stakeholders and building lasting relationships.
  • Skilled with GA4, GTM, and other tracking and optimisation tools.
  • Proactive, commercially aware, and energised by growing something new.
  • Experience working with charities or values-driven organisations is a major plus, even better if you have an understanding of Christian audiences.

What We Can Offer

  • Salary: £50,000–£60,000 (depending on experience).
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Hybrid working: flexibility to work remotely, with in-office time (Littlehampton) at least once per week.
  • Opportunity to shape Arkyard’s paid media direction and product development.
  • Work that genuinely matters — supporting charities and purpose-led organisations.

About Arkyard

What makes us different?

  • You’ll work with clients whose missions truly matter — charities and
organisations making a positive impact every day.
  • We’re small but ambitious, and in a stage of exciting growth. You’ll have real ownership and influence, helping shape how we work as we scale. Things aren’t all “figured out” — and that’s part of the opportunity.

The Role

As Paid Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for the planning, execution, and optimisation of paid campaigns — with a particular focus on paid social. You’ll work across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Spotify, and YouTube, while also applying your skills in paid search and other channels where relevant.

This isn’t just about technical campaign management — it’s about thinking
strategically, building strong client relationships, and helping us evolve how we deliver paid media. You’ll be encouraged to bring ideas, test new approaches, and push things forward. If you’re looking for a role where you can make a tangible difference — both for your clients and within the agency — this is it!

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of paid media campaigns, primarily across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • You’ll own the performance of your clients accounts including account builds, optimisation, and expansion across multiple channels and markets.
  • Monitor, forecast, and report on performance, providing clear and actionable insights.
  • You will be client facing, owning and building relationships by offering trusted advice, strategic direction and proactive recommendations.
  • You’ll be comfortable presenting in meetings and calls with a natural ability to tell stories and turn complex information into clear narratives.
  • You will work with our other service lines to share data and insights, building a holistic view across all owned marketing activity.
  • Contribute to new business by auditing accounts, preparing pitch materials, and presenting to prospects.
  • Stay ahead of paid social trends and innovations, testing new approaches to keep clients at the cutting edge.
  • Share knowledge and best practice with colleagues, helping to raise the bar across the team

About You

You’re a strategic thinker with a knack for turning data into clear, compelling stories. Confident across paid media platforms, you combine strong technical expertise with the ability to step back and see the bigger picture. You take ownership of client performance, bringing both insight and initiative, and you thrive on building trusted relationships that drive real results.

Essential experience and skills:

  • 3+ years of agency experience in paid media.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge and hands-on expertise in paid social campaign management across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn (and ideally YouTube).
  • Familiarity with paid search platforms and willingness to work across channels.
  • Experience working with charities, non-profits, or purpose-driven organisations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insight with a clear narrative.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with GA4, GTM, and other analytics/tracking tools.
  • A self-starter, able to take ownership and drive activity forward.
  • Commercial awareness, understanding how media performance links to wider goals.

Desirable:

  • Understanding of Christian or faith-based audiences.
  • Google Ads / Analytics certifications.
  • Experience with programmatic, display, or emerging ad platforms.

See how we've helped organisations make their potential possible

Common challenges we solve

We plan and manage paid media campaigns that don’t just reach audiences — they convert them. Through smart targeting, creative testing, and continuous optimisation, we help you find and scale the channels that deliver sustainable donor growth.

We build robust tracking frameworks so you can see the full picture. From first click to donation, our setup ensures every data point is accurate, transparent, and ready to inform your next decision.

Your website should work as hard as your campaigns. We audit user experience, speed, and conversion journeys — then identify practical improvements that make giving easier and more meaningful for your audience.

We don’t just optimise ads — we optimise the journey. By aligning creative, landing pages, and targeting, we reduce wasted spend and focus budgets where they’ll have the biggest impact.

Digital changes fast. We help you stay ahead by setting up compliant, flexible tracking systems and insight frameworks that scale with your strategy — not against it.
