Our story

Founded in 2020 by two brothers-in-law (Jacob & Harrison), Arkyard was born out of a love of digital and a passion for the non-profit sector. 

From the outset, we had two clear reasons for being:

To support the charity sector. 

Coming from mainstream agency backgrounds – we both loved digital, but felt a common lack of purpose and desire to do more meaningful work that aligned with our personal values. We both had first-hand experience of charities being turned away, or pushed to the bottom of the pile because of lack of budget. The sector was falling behind, opportunity was being left on the table and we wanted to provide a solution.

To connect the dots between services. 

With Harrison’s background in paid media and Jacob’s background in website optimisation, we saw enormous value in connecting the dots between these services. It gives us the ability to have a more holistic understanding of the user journey – from the first paid media impression through to conversion, and all the touchpoints in between. 

Where Arkyard is now

Fast-forward to today and our agency has grown in terms of size and the services we offer, but we still hold onto those reasons. They are what drives us to do what we do.
